Ingredients
  1. 5 lb yellow squash, sliced
  2. 2 eggs, beaten
  3. 1⁄2 c butter or margarine
  4. 1⁄4 c sugar
  5. 2 T onion, chopped
  6. 1 salt and pepper, to taste
  7. 1 c bread crumbs
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a saucepan, cover squash with water and cook until tender.
  3. Drain and mash.
  4. Combine with remaining ingredients except breadcrumbs.
  5. Pour into greased 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until breadcrumbs are lightly browned.
