Ingredients
- 5 lb yellow squash, sliced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1⁄2 c butter or margarine
- 1⁄4 c sugar
- 2 T onion, chopped
- 1 salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 c bread crumbs
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a saucepan, cover squash with water and cook until tender.
- Drain and mash.
- Combine with remaining ingredients except breadcrumbs.
- Pour into greased 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until breadcrumbs are lightly browned.
