Chicken and Dressing

Ingredients
- 1 chicken
- 1 stick butter
- 2 or 3 onions, diced
- 1 pk cornbread mix, cooked
- celery, diced, to taste
- 1 T sage, to taste, at least 1or2 tbsp
- 3 or 4 slices bread
- 1 sm can pet milk (optional)
- 5 or 6 eggs
Cook Chicken
- Add butter, 1 onion and chick to large pot of water.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Boil chicken until cooked.
- De-bone and tear chicken into pieces. Save the broth.
Cornbread
- Cook cornbread as directed.
- After cooking, crumble up cornbread for later use.
For the dressing
- Coat casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Place cooked chicken in casserole dish
- Add crumbled corn bread, remaining onion(s), celery, sage, bread torn into pieces, pet milk, and eggs.
- Mix well and pour chicken broth over mixture. This will be very soupy.
- Bake 30-45 minutes at 365 degrees.
