A tasty Italian soup with bacon, spinach & pasta

Ingredients
  1. 1 c small seashell pasta, cooked
  2. 3 T chopped fresh parsley
  3. 1 t dried oregano
  4. 3 T chopped fresh basil
  5. 1⁄2 pk frozen chopped spinach, thawed
  6. 2 cn 14 oz diced tomatoes with juice
  7. 2 stalks celery, chopped
  8. 1 carrot, peeled and sliced thin
  9. 4 cn 14.5 oz chicken broth
  10. 2 clv garlic, minced
  11. 4 sli bacon, chopped
  12. 1 cn 19 oz white beans
  13. 1 sm zucchini
  14. 1 lg onion, chopped
  15. salt and pepper
  16. parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy.
  2. Remove from pan with a slotted spoon.
  3. Add onions and garlic to bacon fat.
  4. Cook, stirring frequently, until tender.
  5. Add chicken broth, carrots, celery and tomatoes.
  6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  7. Add spinach, zucchini, basil, parsley, oregano and beans.
  8. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  9. Add pasta and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  10. Sprinkle with bacon and Parmesan cheese.
