Ingredients
- 1 c pecans
- 1⁄8 t cream of tarter
- 1⁄2 c flour
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 T butter, melted
- 1⁄2 c sugar
- 1 c dark corn syrup
- powdered sugar as desired
- 3 eggs
- whipping cream as desired
Instructions
- In small mixing bowl, beat eggs @ high speed until thick and lemon colored, about 5 minutes.
- Add corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla and mix well.
- Stir together flour and cream of tarter, fold into egg mixture.
- Stir in 1/2 of pecans, pour into greased oblong baking dish, sprinkle remaining pecans on top
- Bake @ 375 for 30-35 minutes or until done.
- Spoon into desert dishes, sprinkle with powdered sugar and whipping cream.
